Frequently asked questions
What is The Support Register?
The Support Register is an Australian software platform where NDIS providers see a live audit-readiness score against the NDIS Practice Standards, brand compliance documents to their business, map real evidence to each standard, and export an auditor-ready proof pack. Start with a 30-day free trial, no credit card.
How much does The Support Register cost?
Three plans, all GST-inclusive and all with UNLIMITED users: Solo $89/mo (1 site), Provider $149/mo (most popular, up to 5 sites), Multi-site $249/mo (6+ sites). Your audit-readiness score is always free to see, and there's a 30-day free trial with no credit card. Prefer to own documents outright? One-off kits are available from ndiscompliant.com.au.
What does the green light actually mean?
Green means the work was done — a policy exists, it's practised, and it's current, with evidence attached and attested by your team. A template alone never turns a standard green. That's the same test an auditor applies.
Which NDIS providers is it for?
Sole traders through to 20+ staff organisations: SIL and SDA providers, high-intensity and community nursing services, support coordinators, allied health practices, plan managers and community-care providers.
What is the difference between verification and certification?
Verification is a document-only audit (no site visit) used by 28 of the 36 registration groups — typically decided in 4–8 weeks. Certification is a full audit with a site visit and per-participant evidence sampling, required for groups like SIL (0138), personal care (0107) and high-intensity supports (0104).
When is the SIL registration deadline?
Mandatory SIL registration commenced 1 July 2026 under the new 0138 class. Previously unregistered SIL providers must apply by 1 October 2026.
How do you compare to Audit Pilot?
Audit Pilot's public plan is $199/month + GST (~$219 inc GST) and makes you book a sales demo before you can start. The Support Register is transparently priced from $89/month inc GST with unlimited users on every plan, and you can see your readiness score and start a 30-day trial the same day — no credit card, no demo. Really though, judge us against the cost of getting this wrong: a consultant runs $4,400–$15,000 and a failed audit can cost your registration.
Do I need a consultant to get NDIS registered?
Most small providers don't. A consultant engagement typically costs $4,400–$15,000 and then walks away. The Support Register keeps you audit-ready across the whole 3-year cycle for a fraction of that — and you can still bring a consultant to the actual audit if you want.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes — the Provider plan includes up to 5 users and Team up to 20, with roles: owner, manager, worker and read-only. Attestations record who signed off what — exactly the audit trail auditors want.
Is my data safe?
Your register lives in a dedicated Australian-hosted database with row-level security — every provider's data is isolated, encrypted, and never shared or sold. You can export your evidence at any time; there's no lock-in.
What happens after the free trial?
Your audit-readiness score and gap list stay visible — we never hide the truth of where you stand. To keep generating documents and exporting your auditor pack you choose a plan; everything you built and any kits you bought outright remain yours, and you can export and keep your documents even if you cancel.
